Back to retail I go!

Well I am finally back in the land of retail once more.

I lasted two shifts at a bookstore before realising they were employers of the worst kind and thankfully the very next day a big box store called back with a much better offer. Im second and closing shift even better so no 7am shifts!

I even had my first customer yell at me during my 12 hours at the bookstore, that was fun

I have to say even though working at an office was better money, the hours killed me. 9-5 is NOT fun!

Man, i hated 9-5 too. But now that i work either 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am i must admit i kind of miss it.

I can't do 9-5 on a regular basis - but even worse, the normal office shift in this city is 8-4! In midwinter when the sun doesn't even rise till nearly 9 - uh-uh. No way.

I also can't handle sitting at a desk all day. At least in retail I can walk around and do different things during the day!
