I might be missing the sarcasm here, but you are aware that those sites are trying to sell you it by saying it works?

And the Mythbusters did approach something similar as well though in there case it was eye color. Afterwards they talked to the doctor who checked out Kari's eyes and he said simply that for psychological results hypnosis is very effective if you're receptive to it. Physical changes however cannot be simply "willed" to change like that and hypnosis on that is nothing more than snake oil.
