  • Problems on forums...

Trying to change threads and move around the forums,I've been getting this message several times now... it seems an intermittent problem...

XML Parsing Error: unexpected parser state Location: jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Mozilla%20Firefox/omni.ja!/chrome/toolkit/content/global/netError.xhtml Line Number 305, Column 54: <div id="ed_netTimeout">&netTimeout.longDesc;</div> -----------------------------------------------------^

I'm sure it means something to someone

It means a little bit, but not much useful to me. The critical part is that it refers to something in "c:\program files". I can make a 100% guarantee that there is no such directory on the server.

Now, this doesn't mean that there's nothing on the server to cause the problem, but my first inclination would be to do something with Firefox. I'd try a reinstall of it, personally.

The only thing I can think of would be either :

      - an issue on Kit's comp -- which is suggested because it is showing file: instead of http:

      - maybe a serverside issue, but only if "" <div id="ed_netTimeout">&netTimeout.longDesc;</div>" is present in the site code, at the location listed.

I would guess the former. Maybe try uninstalling-rebooting-reinstalling all versions of java on your comp, Kit?

Well, since I shut it down for the night and started it up,I haven't had a problem. Maybe just a glitch in the system somewhere-I'll keep an eye on it. Perhaps Cooper used a vital bit to power up his giant box robot?
