Today is Thursday, Thursday 02/07/09, we in the UK have had some of the hottest days going, we're on a heatwave alert, level 3 (whatever the hell that means, but it sounds impressive).
Anyhoo, at [First Aid Organisation] that I do the odd bit of work for we're doing a duty on one site spread over 2 weekends, between Sunday last week and today at 1900 there has been no-one at the site.
There was however some milk left.
In our First Aid Tent.
Which has no Air Conditioning (what with it being a tent you see...)
Said milk was left on a table.
When I arrived this evening I find two 4 pint containers, both split. The containers themselves had a grey/green liquid in the bottom half and what appeared to be builders foam in the top half. On the table upon which they were placed were splatter marks which by this time had dried and solidified onto the table.
After double bagging and duck taping the 2x 4 pint containers then finding a bin Very Far Away I then spent the next 50 minutes cleaning the table removing all traces of this milk.
I'm so glad we found this out now and not tomorrow when the duty re starts...
