    OMG.

    Do people really think that I have a stock of tour guides sitting in some imaginary backroom who have nothing to do and are just there at my whim 24/7? It's not like I am some wholesaler of tour guides who have an inventory where you can pick and choose.

    We have tours six days a week, twice a day M-F and and once on Saturday, this isn't enough for you?

    Don't get all pissy because we don't do shit on Sunday or Saturday afternoons. There isn't "just someone" who can show you around. It's not my fault your flight doesn't get in with enough time for you to get from the airport to the tour place. I offered to send you a self guided packet and you didn't seem too interested.

    Your student is not special or more important than everyone else. Don't assume that we will bend over backwards to the point that we can ask a tour guide to give up their Saturday afternoon just for you.

    I'm an on call tour guide for the dorms, and I swear this happens all the time!!! There's only two of us on call, the rest are at scheduled times. Naturally, if we're at class, the office (who has our schedule and generally knows where we are) is not going to pull us out just so you can go on a special tour of your own. School comes first- so please go on one of the scheduled tours or, I don't know, wait until we are out of class please. I swear the other tour guides know just as much as we do, and you'll get quality information either way.

      Either that is a rhetorical question you posted just for grins, or you are very new to this board.

        And another thing... if there is no tour offered on the website, that means we don't have one. Guess what asshat, we want to go and enjoy holidays too, I can give a shit less if you made plane reservations to come and see us, there is no one to show you around, so deal with it!

            Because they deserve nothing less then full service at will. Really, where did your customer service skills come from? A Cracker Jack box?

            How can you say that? Their pwecious is the most specialist thing on the planet. They deserve 24-7 full service naturally.
