I bet your boss does. Or your boss's boss. Someone higher up is getting kickbacks or else it wouldn't be so OMGSELLTHESENOW important.


On a semi-related topic, I and a few teammates of mine had to ask a supervisor to tell someone to ease up on the solicitations for United Way. I guess our company is a big donor, and we were getting email on a daily basis (sometimes several times a day). I don't know what the rationale was, but it turned off a lot of people from ever considering donating to them.
