You know you've been in tech support too long when you answer your home phone with "Nerdsoft Corp, this is Grype speaking."

i dream about work as well, I take phone calls in my sleep and wake up knowing exactly how I dealt with the call and wonder if there is a real customer with that name and account number.

You know you have worked in the call centre too long when the customer complains he tried to call and the call centre was not open,

just as you go to tell him you are sorry he was inconvenienced but the hours are x to x,

you realise you are on a bus and the customer is the person behind you talking to his friend and you don't actually know which call centre they they are talking about

You know you've been a diesel jockey too long...

When you dream all night every night that you're humping trucks.

You know you've been working in the call center too long when...you dream you're on the clock, and you find out later you were talking in your sleep and following the script.

You know you've been spending too much time at the office when you walk into your home, and the cat looks at you as if to say, who are you and what are you doing in my house?

You know you've been in retail too long when.

You go and get ready and go into work. Only to find out that you're not even scheduled to work that day.

You know you've been marking too long when you have not only the solution memorized, but three or four of the most common wrong answers. (We carry mistakes through to give part marks).

You know you've been in retail too long when you start actually dreaming you're at work. (this happened to me for a few months when I first started at old store. It became worse when I was ON the antidepressants, then when I came off, they went away altogether)

Done that. The most interesting one thus far was when I was at work with no pants on, and nobody seemed to notice.
