RIP "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes

According to WWE.com, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes (real name Virgil Runnels) has passed away. In his day, "the son of a plumber" has been a three-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and a four-time Hall of Famer (WWE, WCW, Pro Wrestling, and Wrestling Observer Newsletter). Rhodes is the father of two wrestlers-- Dustin Runnels (aka "Goldust") and Cody Runnels (aka Cody Rhodes, aka "Stardust").

He's wining and dining with kings and queens up in Heaven now.

Oh no! We have been watching a lot of wrestling documentaries lately, and I always enjoy his interviews. He was really an interesting person.

He certainly didn't have the 'look' of a professional wrestler but holy cow could he cut a promo and connect with the crowd.
