    It depends on how the coupon works, at WM the bill is for the full amount and the coupon works like cash to change the price. So instead of it being

    $5.99 * tax

    it is:

    ($7.99 * tax) - $2.00

    it is still a $5.99 Omelette but it is taxed as a $7.99 one
