Oh no, there's more than one of them!
Had a lady say the exact same thing to me a few years back. I still don't know how to reply to "I shouldn't have to read!". She wanted a huge ass bottle of liquor for something like $2.98 and it was ringing up over twenty. I go to where she leads me, obviously the bottle had been put in the wrong place. Perhaps another customer just left if there (which I explained to her) perhaps she was scamming me. Either way, I said "It's best to read the labels, especially when the price seems too good to be true". She responded with "I shouldn't have to read!". I was completely perplexed and was figuring out what to say when she said "Are you going to give it to me for $2.98?" and I said "No.".
I like to read labels so I know what I'm getting and the price is correct, etc, etc.
