[threadjack] I've had the opposite happen to me. I had a coupon for a free 20 oz. soda "up to $1.59 value". The clerk told me that they couldn't take it because the soda was only $1.29. [/threadjack]

Doesn't quite make sense... "Up to" means "up to". Unless there was a bottom value, I don't understand why they couldn't take it...
