I must have been the exception to the rule because I never acted that way when I was in the Navy. I was in from age 20-24. Of course since I didn't drink, I was often the designated driver. Not to mention time spent trying to keep my drunk buddies out of trouble. They did provide me hours of free, hilarious entertainment though.

o yeah there's always exceptions. one of my buddies on my last ship was more interested in being a geek rather than raising hell. and his girlfriend was the same. neither one was over 25. and they were great to hang out with.

i learned from them... the people you hang out with should be people you're proud to call friends.

It's so frustrating to be the middle man in those situations. You've got the unhappy guests that are complaining about the noise and then you have the rowdy bunch you're trying to quiet down that aren't doing what you're asking. I feel your pain! People can be so inconsiderate! They don't care about anything that's going on around them or how they're affecting other people.
