I used to say, at my last retail job, that I was going to put a crystal ball at the register and when people got mad because I didn't read their minds, I would touch the ball, close my eyes and start humming "ooooohhhhhhhmmmmmmm". Then tell them "Sorry, I wasn't able to pick up anything in the otherworld"

Oooooh that's a good one! Usually when an SC shoves an item in my face and say 'How much iz dis?' I hold it up to my forehead and frown and say 'Aww darn my ESP isn't working guess I'll have to go find the price scanner'

I would not be able to hold back. "We can't read minds or see through your purse. It's YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to remember you have coupons and take them out. If you use coupons often, you should be able to remember that you have them."

I wouldn't last long in retail
