Makes me wonder if she had been drinking. Long ago in a land far far away, I once worked overnights in a truck stop. Meaning I worked after the bars closed. You would no sooner put the order in and the freaking sops would start complaining, throwing napkins, and dumping ketchup everywhere, because it was taking soooo long.
