As an aside, I'm wondering how many people know Andy Griffith more as Matlock than as, well, Andy Griffith.

Maybe I've watched too many episodes of The Simpsons....take one pill every hour to prevent spastic heart convulsions....

But in all seriousness, another icon, and a symbol of a simpler time, gone from the scene.
