Once, when we were discussing Chinese names for my eldest nephew (the English name was already decided), my family wanted to give him a name that sounds like "chun-lap-churng", as in "Chinese Sausage Chan"!
I immediately vetoed the name because I thought that with a name like that, people might want to eat him!
