A man and a woman who had never met before were assigned the same sleeping room on a transcontinental train. Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing the room, they were both very tired and fell asleep quickly, he in the upper berth and she in the lower.
At about 1 am, the man leaned down from his bunk and gently awoke the woman. "Excuse me, but could you please reach into the closet and get me another blanket? I'm kinda cold."
"Actually, I have a better idea," she told him. "Just for tonight, let's pretend we're married."
"Wow! What a great idea!" the man said.
"Well good! Get your own damn blanket then!" the woman replied.
After a moment of silence, the man farted loudly and went back to sleep.
