He must have money somewhere if he was willing to pay a ridiculous price as high as $75 for a stupid watch. There are plenty of watches at other stores he could buy for barely $10. What difference does a $75 watch have from a $10 watch anyway? Does it scratch your butt for you or does it turn everything it touches into gold? If he hasn't eaten in days since he has no money, so he claims, then you'd think he'd be a little more careful with his finances especially concerning the expenditure of 75 dollars for a stupid measly watch. 75 dollars could keep his stomach full for a month if he was careful!
