For a while, I planned on going to university this September so that I could become a fully qualified teacher. However, the economy in my area has taken a massive dive, and at the minute, people are lucky if they even have a job.
So I decided to hold off unverisity for now. I have a job I really love, and I didn't see sense in quitting it to go to university, get a qualification, and then be left without a job. My absolute worst fear was ending up back at a pub, because I honestly believe if that happened, it would be the end of me.
Plus, my first choice in university rejected me
Today, I got a letter from an excellent university, offering me an interview. This university was not my first choice, because I honestly believed they would never take me. I got the letter today.
I am definately going to the interview (it is in just over three weeks) but this has completely put me out of sorts. I don't know what to do. I spent my entire office shift pacing up and down, going through it all in my head.
