On some threads, I've noticed that the posts stretch out...like there's a big picture.

    But there's not.

I'm so not explaining this well.

First thing is, can you link to the threads doing it for you? Is it every thread? Threads in a specific forum? Any commonalities? If they're not doing it on a regular basis (one thread doesn't do it every time), can you take a screenshot and post it?

This is one of the problem threads. The first page is fine, the second page is not.

Nertz. Looks good to me. So much for an easy fix. Anyone else having this issue?

Or I'll also accept brilliant flashes of insight. I'm not picky.

I've actually been dealing with it for a few days. It just really started annoying me tonight.

Maybe it's like taking a car to the mechanic.

I thought it was just me when it did that. My browser crashed right after so I just figured it was that.

Well, page two looks good to me. I'm using Firefox 3, RC1, on Linux. Which browsers the rest of you using?

Edit to add: List of browser extensions installed:
              • Firebug w/YSlow
              • SamePlace w/xmpp4moz
              • NoScript
              • VMWare Virtual Machine Remote Console Plugin
              • Web Developer

NoScript has been told to trust this site, so any javascript is running correctly. Furthermore, Firebug is not reporting any errors from the Javascript.

Okay, multiple reports. That means we need points of commonality. Pederson's right. What browser is everyone using (please include versions and extensions/add-ons/etc where appropriate)?

I have no problems with the thread in question, running Firefox 2.0.0.14 under Windows XP Pro SP 2.

Can you try highlighting the page to see if anything looks like a wide block of nothing?

I'm just using AOL 9.0 on Windows XP something-or-other.

                          Same here. Different computer, though.

                          Different state, even.

Becks, that page is fine for me...but half the posts in PFB are stretched out.

Possibly an AOL issue then. Any recent updates to the AOL browser? Also, how long ago did you notice this happening? (Might be linked to the upgrade Raps did not long ago). I'm actually betting it's related to the update not liking AOL.
