But why would you do that to a perfectly good Brunswick? Doesn't it deserve better than that?
Nonsense. Finest tent-stake hammers they make

When I was in the Scouts, we called them "tally-whackers."

I am not sure if it's a family thing, a NOLA thing, or just a Southernism, but the term tally-whacker means something completely different to me >_>

Erm, yeah, I first heard that on the radio (a certain talk-show host who sounds exactly like Ned Flanders, if anyone in or around WNY has ever heard him...) and I have to say it's one of my favorite euphemisms for that part of the anatomy

But the idea of carving a tally in it for every time it gets whacked?

Come to think of it, I first heard that term when I was in the Scouts down in Texas (Plano, TX).

And again, we were teenagers. Someone probably chose to nickname it that on purpose. Because haaaay anatomical jokes lol.

also referred to (by sound) "bAht-a-KLAH" in Cajun gutter slang, or what passes for it among my relations whose blood type is effectively "Crawfish"; the distaff counterpart to that bit of anatomy is said like "GAH-luh". It is for that reason that I get a fit of the giggles every time I see or hear an announcement for a "gala event" ~_~

                  Wouldn't that be a whack-tallier?
