I just couldn't believe that someone would actually say something like that. Deli people are on their feet moving constantly, having to remember what you just told them which means they had to forget what the previous person said. They have to put up with your indecision, your ability to change your mind
while they are cutting your meat and your impatience that it's all taking so looooong. And they do this over and over and over day after day. I don't know what they get paid, but it ain't enough.
I'm normally awful at confrontation and to tell the truth I was worried he would follow in the store. But I think he was too much of a coward and is only good for harassing people he knows can't fight back. I glad I was there so I could say something. I know that terrible feeling of having to take abuse and it's something no one should have to go through. Customers are NOT always right and need to be put firmly in their place when they forget their manners.
