So this past Sunday was ... interesting. I got up late (noon) and checked my messages.

From my supervisor: "Where are you? You were supposed to be here at 8 a.m."

I had mis-read the schedule (easy to do, the way they've got it set up) and thought my 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. shift was the next day (Monday).

Made it down to the store (at the other end of the city) in record time.

      That was about it!

The only 'bad' part was at 3 p.m. ... when I would been heading home, IF I had gotten there on time! They had asked if I could stay until 7 p.m. and I was hardly in a position to say 'No'. Not to mention, of course, I haven't won the lottery yet, so ...

Aw shit ... got a call today: "You were scheduled for 12-5 ... are you okay?"

NEITHER of my calendars shows a shift for today. Not sure WTF happened.

Their schedules are written up very oddly so it's very easy to mistake which day you should be there.

And I just got notified that I am not under consideration for a different job I applied for.

However, it was also right across the city.

Time to start working on applying for jobs closer to where I now live.

Since you live in Bookholm isn't booking it across the city part of your culture?
