I never call anyone sir or madam.

My standard response to that would be: "Madam's run brothels, you want me to start accusing our customers of being ladies of the night?"

My Dad used to secret shop. Trust me, he gave out a lot of prizes. The company he worked for wanted a truthful review.
He eventually moved over to checking movie trailers (which could lead to him staying to watch the movie after for free... I took a few of the movies he didn't care to see, and, thus, got to see Sin City for free opening week.)
