  • Someone needs a remedial course in ass-wiping [GROSS]

THREE shit-caked toilet seats and/or clogged bowls I had to deal with today. How can people be such fucking slobs? How much T.P. does the average person require?!

Because they don't have to clean up after themselves and/or have their SO clean their messes. Plus, people use far more TP than they need. Sorry you had to deal with so much literal shit today.

I still remember some of the gross stuff I had to clean in hte bathroom. I swear I do not know how men can become snipers but still manage to miss the bowl/urinail.

The worst one was a guy "pleasured" himself and it was a LOT. EEEEEWWWWWWW
I'm lost without a paddle and headed up SH*T creek.

        Worse

You know what makes it worse? Visiting different friends I found one friend does not clean his toilet or the rest of his washroom for that matter. I think in some of the worse cases their own home is just as bad or worse.

The worst I've ever seen is when an individual used their own feces to write the N-word on the bathroom wall in giant letters... and then initialed it.

Oh god how can people live like that? In what universe is that even remotely ok? That thought is about the most disgusting thing ever.

Another ex-friend seemed perfectly normal and clean. But one day I got invited to his house during winter (I had been there before with no problems), to my surprise I found they keep the dog indoors in the basement during the winter.

The dog would poop on the floor and they DID NOT CLEAN IT UP! The basement floor had dog feces everywhere. And he thought this was perfectly normal, and had no plans to clean up before spring.

Yes, we had a falling out after that.

UGH! I would think the stench would permeate the entire house!

Yeah, I don't blame you for breaking off that friendship.

I can attest to the smell of dogs not being let outside on a regular basis. I'm part of a shovel-out effort of a house where the old folks... couldn't/didn't let their dogs out. That carpet is... not salvageable, at best. And yes, I did say and mean 'shovel-out'.

At-least this was a concrete floor, but I am sure any liquids would soak in at-least a little.

Vinegar. Lots and lots of vinegar. Of course, the smell is going to flow and permeate anything and everything, so... yeah, no. (As it is, I don't know if the wood UNDER the carpet is going to be a casualty of 'years of pee') 2 years of leaving doors open to the steady winds blowing through the pass... helps lots, but still... "Nope, I am NOT going to be living in that place".

And not letting animals outside AND not keeping their area cleaned can be a nice little felony-level animal cruelty charge, depending on the area's laws and how energetic the prosecutor's office is feeling.

We let the dog out to do his business, and I once in the while pick up his poop outside. But I was watching something on Youtube about enriching the life of dogs, and started to actually take the dog on walks in the neighborhood (yes, I pick up his poop) and he enjoy himself, smelling stuff, peeing on stuff. When he sees me getting his harness he just goes insane with happiness.

On another point, the guest bathroom was running and also not flushing. My BIL says we need universal fit adjustable toilet fill valve. My husband wants his brother to fix it, BIL doesn't want to (don't blame the BIL), husband wants me to call the handiman. Friend of husband comes over, toliet not working, have to dump a bucket of water into bowl. So before the next time friend comes over (they play the latest Madden all the time) I go to Big Brand hardware store, buy neccessary item and a flapper, and change it myself. I messed up by undoing the top nut first, but it was actually easy.

I tell this to friend who came over. I also mention how I only clean the guest bathroom once a week, and friend tells me he cleans his bathroom everyday, and 2x a month puts 1/2 gallon of vineger and some baking soda in the toliet. This friend also comes over and leaves his mask on (i'm fine with that, I don't know if I should wear my mask but all of us have the covid vaccine) and I have to buy wet wipes for the friend, who uses 3 wipes every visit to wipe down thing. Also he is allergic to dog but at least he takes meds for the allergy and tells us we don't need to leave the dog outside when he is here.

I don;t know if I should feel bad about not cleaning every day. But I'm lazy, and he is the only guest for the past 10 months so not worried about cleaning the guest bathroom every day.
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

I think if Felix Unger finds your housekeeping unsatisfactory, he should volunteer to either help you or HE hosts the get-togethers. If he's not actually immuno-compromised or something, that's just rude of him to get that persnickety in someone else's home.

Excuse me, please, but Felix Unger could be entertaining. Is this person, depechemodefan?
