My nanna-in-law is going in for surgery tomorrow and she's pretty worried about how everything is going to go. Nanna B is a lovely, wonderful saint of a woman and we'd love to have her around for quite a few more years. She turned 83 today, so any surgery is risky but she desperately needs the rods they're putting into her back to 'fix' a collapsed lumbar vertebra and severe lumbar lordosis. Hopefully, it will get rid of or lower significantly the amount of pain she's in, and should help her to regain her mobility. She wants to be out gardening with me, going exploring the countryside with Rugz and playing with all her great-grandkids again.
Any good thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
