Search "chrome diopside". I have a ring in 14c gold with a larger carat weight of CD; cost me .0028 of that one, and it's a prettier ring.

While I love emeralds, a natural emerald of that size is incredibly fragile. One wrong move and it's in pieces. If I'm going to go with an emerald, I'd rather do a cultured one. Better color and clarity.
