I'm sure you can already tell where this is going,
To understand this a bit better, you need to know the layout of this section of the store. The west wall held frozen foods- TV dinners, frozen chicken patties, and the like. The south wall was where the meat department was, with fresh meats stretching from the door to the frozen foods section. On the south wall, just before frozen foods, there was a large swinging door into the back, and just before that was where the bread was kept. With the cold things, go figure.
My husband and I were shopping there once and he had stopped to talk to one of his coworkers. As we started to walk away, off toward the frozen food, we noticed an older man sneeze loudly into his hand. Then he proceeded to look at it, reach over and WIPE IT ON A LOAF OF BREAD!
I stood there to make sure nobody bought it while my husband ran to get a pair of gloves so he could get rid of the mess.
Needless to say, we never bought bread there again.
