What's really fun is being on the bank's end of things when the huge nation wide bank's mainframe goes down. For four days. Yeah, that was fun*. Even then we had procedures to get transactions approved during that time. If we can get transactions approved during a crisis of that level, we can certainly take care of mundane, day to day issues.

*What was even more fun than that was the disaster we had to clean up when we got the mainframe back up.
