So the JCP revealed part of the new look for the dinky store in my town. I would stay it looks Macy's-esque. To the right of the men's entrance is a large L shaped counter thing. Facing the aisle are two square objects, at first I thought they were for signs (I've seen all sorts of stupid sign holders, so that wouldn't have surprised me), but no, they are holders for.... iPads. this will not end well. I asked if there would be a responsible adult over there.
Later I noticed that one side had about 6 stools put just under the counter.i make some lame joke about having to get a TABC, and I'm told that the set up is called a Levi's bar. Oh no, this will not end well at all. IPads, stools, people who don't watch their kids.

Last week on my way to start my shift a green sign placed net to the punch box catches my eye. It reads "ORC? Not at Jc Penney!". Wha? Immeadeitly I get this image in my head of Orcs rummaging through piles of clothes. Apparently it stands for Organized Retail Crime, but it's just too much of a coincidence for that word to be on a green sign. There's got to be some high up nerd that's just having a laugh over it. That, plus in the lower left hand corner is the text "Made the save". I crack up again. What save? fort save? Will save?

With Orcs it probably is going to be a Fort save, I don't think very many of them have attacks that target Will

Maybe reflex if they chuck something at you. Seriously though, I wanna go get some WAR Orc models, paint them, and tack them to that sign now. "KILL THE HUMIES AND TAKE D'ERE STUFF!"

No, no, see, that means they don't hire Orcs to do the LP for their store. They use sneaky little goblins instead. Yeah, I know.. racist of them. Orcs are great for intimidation, but they scare off customers. Goblins will NEVER let you leave the store without paying, even if they have to cut you off at the knees to prove it. Goblins are all about the loot!
