TLDR: waiter tweets that actress dined-and-dashed, and actress' agent paid the tab the next day with no tip. Actress goes back to restaurant with tip, makes big deal, waiter loses job.

i don't understand why they were fired. the actress didn't pay. that's wrong. sure, the agent ended up paying but still...why was the waiter fired?

maybe because they tattled on the upstanding actress? or because she made such a big deal. this is a guess though

Yup, the waiter was fired for tattling. Who's going to go to a restaurant where the waiter is known for publicly stating who tips and who doesn't? He was right to be angry, but it was a bad business decision to tattle.

Whether or not you believe the firing was justified, that's why we have boards like CS... :P

I don't blame you at all Slice but you can still do all those things if you use discretion, tact and common sense. I don't do twitter..banal and stupid IMO, I rarely do myspace since half the time my friend requests are from bands and organizations trying to promote themselves or dealing with immature jackasses. I prefer facebook, less guises, less idiocy and it's more fun. No matter who is on my friends list, I'm always wary of what I post and I made it private to those who are not on my friends list. You can also make it where nobody can google your facebook profile too (which is what I did too).

my brother and sister do face book, my brother has found that his supposedly really secure facebook still gets some clients looking where they shouldn't and whiskey my dear im so paranoid because those are the reasons people got fired. if i was going to do that stuff i would be in major death con paranoia.

also im not nearly as paranoid as my sister with her dooms day ranch idea
