Fire Alarm Fun! (bit long)

Lol the funny thing about life is full of surprises. We've had something like that too and the SC's were reluctant and hesitated to leave when a fire alarm goes off. Never expected the true stupidity of customers except when they are put to the test. I had a co-worker tell a story about wanting service and she couldn't serve them because the alarm went off and everyone must evacuate. she seriously told him like fine... burn to death or something similar to those words. I would love to see a news report about dumb idiots who get burned to death in a building because they don't believe there's a fire. what can you do to get these schmucks to listen? I would panic like a loved one of mine is dying from being unsafe!

This is what I would say...


Me: *Polite as can be. Grandpa always said to be kind to the feeble-minded, after all* I'm sorry, sir, but the store is closing because of the fire. We'll be open again by tomorrow night.
Idiot: Hold your horses, I'm just deciding between <two equally stupid movies I felt didn't give me my money's worth even though they were free rentals>.
Me: You're not understanding me... The store is closed because of the fire, it's a serious potential safety hazard and you must evacuate the store!!
Idiot: I said I wasn't done deciding. Go bother someone else!
Me: Sir.. by law when a fire drill goes off I have the right to escort you out by means of a potential safety hazard from security, either leave the store or I'll call the police!
Idiot: Okay fine then


Yeah.. I'd do something like that
