If I know someone is driving, I say that I'm going to hang up because they are driving and then I hang up. I refuse to be the cause of an accident.

I won't answer my phone when I'm driving, either. I rarely get calls at all on my cellphone, as I'm one of those old fossils who still has a landline and I prefer to get calls on that instead of my cellphone, so most of my cellphone calls are either bots or scammers. I do, however, use my cellphone when I'm traveling, but I still pull over.

I'm with ST. While I will answer my cell while driving, I rarely get calls on my cell and have a hands free setup in my car. At home I prefer the land line.

We have two land lines and 10 phones around the house to answer calls. The cell phone is frequently downstairs when I am upstairs and I refuse to break a leg rushing downstairs to answer it. And it is usually a telemarketer anyway.

I have a cell phone so Mrs. IA can call me when I'm not with her.
