  • Weather in my area

I can literally walk to the Gulf of Mexico from where I live right now.

This is going to be a fun Hurrican season.

And people wonder why I don't mind dealing with snow...

    Stay safe!

      Your choices are:
Blown away and drowned - Hurricane
      Blown away - Tornado
      Drown - Flooding
Freeze to death - Ice & snow
      Die of thirst - Desert
Burn to death - Brush/Forrest fire
      Crushed - Earthquake

So which area of the country do you want to live?

I thought that I heard that it would be a mild hurricane season. I hope that is right.

If you can send Debby a little further north, we could use some rain.

      Stay safe,

So far its semi sunny but really windy and wet. I don't mind the weather too much, just if it gets worse I worry.

I'll take frozen with occasional blown away for 100, Alex.

Live in Alaska and you can get 4 out of 7 (if you can't find water you are blind)

I'd still take it over this stupid desert though, I am not made for hot weather.

I walked out to the office mail box, and its so hot and dry right now, when i walked in, i told my boss, "I think I got a shade darker just from that short trip - I went from translucent to pale"
I don't he was expecting that... but I did get a laugh, and almost a rule 1 violation!

I'm in one of the only 2 counties in the peninsula not under some sort of severe weather advisory - but that can change at the 5PM update...

Let's all wish this storm to AZ and CO for the wildfires.

(Edit: mane that 3 counties, I forgot about Monroe). They also recently issued a tornado watch for Palm Beach county.

I'll take the one that doesn't have a season.

For all of you who do live in 'season' areas, do your best to stay safe. I'd miss you if you were gone.

                    I like my 5-day.

I'm looking at the radar and if she hasn't already she's very close to making landfall on the FL panhandle near Crawfordville.

I know Dallas got hit with a nasty wind/hail storm and missed that deployment thanks to my screwed up tendons.

                        Enjoy

So far so good. Just really rainy. Hopefully my plans Friday and Saturday don't go to shit.

My little sis lives on the East coast of Florida and her normal posts on FB about beaches, sand and dipping her toes in the water have suddenly turned to nasty posts about all the rain. She's lived there almost 2 years now and this is the first time they are dealing with alot of rain from tropical storms/hurricanes.
