  • Lowest Super Mario Score possible!

YouTube video of the lowest possible Super Mario Bros. score possible: 500 points! Very impressive! It never occurred to me to do this when I had my video game system...

It's not a "speed run", but the video has been edited because of the clock...

Although I did top 1 million points on Duck Hunt. Until my sister stood in front of the TV so I couldn't shoot any more. Because she wanted to play.

While it in itself is not a speed run, it is a tactic utilized. Runners intentionally go for the lowest point on the flag to save time. There is a few frames saved from mario being at the lowest as opposed to higher up on the flag pole.

Indeed. He may not have been going for time, but he still *played* like a speedrunner. Very specific movement and jumping patterns. Exploiting the glitched jump (where he died) gave it away too (he elaborated upon that in the Description)
