Al's been ill for the last few days. Usual cold. I figured I might get lucky and not get it.
Nope!
Felt fine yesterday. Got period. Then we went shopping and my throat got a tad prickly. An hour later my nose felt weird. An hour after THAT it was running. This morning, full blown cold. I don't normally like taking medicine but my ass is loading up on sudafed and acetaminophen until this is over.
To my body: FUCK YOU. Usually you give me some kind of warning the day previous! I get a sore throat, which turns into a cold the next day. You aren't supposed to roll up on me and do a drive-by like this.
(Also, notice to those reading: I am living with Al again, but only because his sister moved in with her now hubby 50 miles away...and his mum went with her. With the mum there she has absolutely ZERO reason to visit. And she's the kind of bitch you can tolerate for an hour or two during visits. It's so QUIET during the day, but I have the cross-eyed Siamese for company.)
