Every time I boot my laptop, my cursor freezes. It will click and occasionally make very short, jerky movements, but won't move the way it's supposed to. The only way to fix this is to keyboard shortcut my way into the Task Manager and end a task called "Synaptics Touchpad 64-bit Enhancements". It doesn't restart itself and my touchpad works just fine without it. I've located the file itself on my hard drive as well.
I've looked around online and can't find a good answer to this- is it okay if I delete the file that is causing this problem? Or am I going to have to just deal with it?
