      *hugs Seraph*

You mean you had the weekend off from the kids and you did laundry?! for shame woman!

      j/k
Actually, I love the peace and quiet of a load of laundry and a clean house. The smell of gain is comforting, I like the tidyness of the nicely folded or hung clothing , towels and bedding, and the feeling of accomplishment. There is nothing like an evening [or afternoon nap] after having a clean house, a nice shower and crawling into a bed that is freshly made with all freshly done bedding. If you add a nice pre snooze snack of [well for me] a couple deviled eggs and a hot or iced tea, a chapter of whichever book I am currently reading and some nice quiet music [my newest from today is Schubert, including a different version of Death and the Maiden] it can be wonderful. I admit that sometimes I really miss living alone in a studio apartment. It was so nice being able to not worry about other people getting a place messy.

The two of you should get together and relax at a nice spa.
I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Far away from any peacocks, evergreen trees, sticks, rocks.....really anything that Seraph might have made an enemy of in the past.

Given Seraph's luck, that's when we'd make contact with aliens.

My husband was at a party at his friends' house one night. All of a sudden they heard a loud bang the house lost power, so everybody went outside to see what was going on. A drunk woman had hit a transformer right outside their house with her car. She got out and tried to run down the street, but her boyfriend jumped out of the passenger's side and wrestled her to the ground, telling her she needed to wait for the police. She was sobbing and yelling, "No!"

It would certainly be scary to me.
