    Douglas Engelbart, without whom your experience on CS would be substantially different, has died.

    Among his contributions to the world of computing was the invention of the mouse. Also (not listed in the article linked to above, but found in the print item in the Toronto Star), he also created videoconferencing, and laid out a vision of what eventually became the Internet.
    Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.
