What NOT to do in a Casino

Lol, I am a gambler occasionally. not in casinos. tried it. got bored after about 30 minutes (still had most of my lose-it cash) and went and read a couple books till it was time to leave. No. I play powerball. IF the jackpot is over 90 million. I buy 1 ticket. My reasoning goes: If I am gonna win, I will win with one ticket. If I am not going to win, which is most probable, I wont waste more than $2. I don't smoke, rarely drink, and am only addicted to books. So I can afford to waste two bucks every few weeks. " If I happen to remember.

My parents on the other hand. they would go to Foxwoods every few months. not a regularly timed thing. They would have a set amount to spend or lose. My mom played Blackjack. Dad did slots. At first Mom would lose her money and come get more from Dad's winnings (yeah he always won. don't know why.). Then she would be in her rhythm and by the time they headed home they would be anywhere from $150 -$600 ahead in cash. useful when you have 6 kids to raise. And Mom ALWAYS ended her month ahead of cash spent on cards in Bingo. She played 36 cards at a time, and went to bingo maybe twice a week.

Casinos hate me right now.

Each time I go to a casino, I walk out with at least $500 cash after spending an average of less than $20. The casinos aren't making a profit off of me as a result. Oh, well. They got plenty of bad gamblers to siphon off from!

People who do really well and tell all their friends how well they do will get their friends to come in and gamble... their friends, who by the way, probably won't do as well as them.
As I've told people before, we aren't lying when we say "we love winners", because the part of the sentence that is left unsaid is "because they bring so many losers with them."
