    Need to figure in saving on tire replacement and oil changes too. Specially since that 64 a week is 3200 over 50 weeks (assuming you have two weeks off). Also if this new route can help combine outing chores like the grocery store jaunt that's something to add in too.

      Well, there aren't any grocery stores along the current route. Even when they move, there won't be. They're basically moving from their current location to 8 miles south or so along the freeway.
      Skilled programmers aren't cheap. Cheap programmers aren't skilled.
