  • Del Toro's Treehouse of Horror Opening.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtgYY7dhTyE

Guillermo del Toro does the opening of The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror.

I love this. I love it so much. I love that del Toro doesn't even shun a reference to Mimic. I didn't see a Devil's Backbone reference but I'll have to watch that about 10 more times to get all the references.

AND he honors my favorite author, Ray Bradbury, which makes me squeal a little.

    Edit: I found this!

The Devil's Backbone was in there!

I watched the whole intro and was amazed at all of the stuff they managed to include.

Quite impressive. Though they didn't mention the obvious Pan's Labyrinth reference just before the credits.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

Mr. Burns as the Pale Man was a Pan's Labyrinth reference too.

I was still geeking out about Great Cthulhu making an appearance. Ia! Ia!
