      Quite possible. You and I understand that this is possible as most reasonable people would. Unfortunately this sucky customer can not conceive of the fact that this might even be a possibility so clearly the peon she is dealing with must be incompetent. It's not like she should have to do something simple like repeat herself.

      To the OP, good for you on transferring the call to your supervisor. If I had been in your situation I think I might have accidentally dropped the call. My clumsy, incompetent fingers and all.
      You'll find a slight squeeze on the hooter an excellent safety precaution, Miss Scrumptious.
