  • Ugly Tie contest at work

My office Christmas party tomorrow is having an "Ugly Tie" contest.
My entry is this vest I found on eBay for 5 dollars. It's made out of ties and vintage buttons. :-)

I am so SO glad I was not present for this. There would have been an unpleasant duct tape incident. - Joi

Sheesh! Why don't you just go the distance and wear this outfit?

I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

"Morales looked at the mannequin next to him. Someone had taken the pants off the dummy and fastened a flesh-pink silk tie around the waist so the end hung down in front almost to the figure's knees. The effect was striking but not at all what the tie's designer intended."

Besides, the tie isn't that bad. And compared with the rest of the outfit, it looks pretty darn good!
If I make no sense, I apologize. I'm constantly interrupted by an actual toddler.

Why not go to the food court and treat yourself to a chocolate-covered Brownie?

It's not the comparison, it's the combination! Egads!

I tried covering Brownies in chocolate to treat myself once. I was chased out of the den by a rather angry Brown Owl....

I've always thought that "ugly tie" was redundant.
