In preparation for my move to CA I did a little research to see what banks are common in LA. Wells Fargo popped up on the search results more than any other bank so I went to their site and opened an account. Thing is I used the address I'm moving to as the address for the account. Damnit now they want to send me paper work to sign to that address and it needs to be turned in within 21 days... I won't be at that address until 3/4.
So I call the customer service line and explain the situation to them. The rep changes the address on the account temporarily to my HI address, and walks me through the rest of the approval process. THEN gives me her direct extension and offers to be my personal banker if I have any issues, etc.
She went above and beyond what I expected.
