  • Think about what you just asked me...

We have graphics that can be put in death notices, such as crosses, doves, angels, Star of David, local police emblem, etc.

Today someone from a funeral home asked me if we had "A cross with a Star of David in the center..."

Probably, but I hate to think of the phone calls we'd get from people who would see that in the paper and go ballistic. Lately it seems as if people have nothing to do but complain.

You mean a family that was always fighting over which church to attend?

Bit of trivia: In the early years, only Jews could convert to Christianity. Outsiders who wanted to convert to Christianity had to first convert to Judaism.

I see that a lot when I read commentary from newspaper cartoonists ~_~ 95+% of the time, people who write in to complain about this comic or another (a) obviously don't really READ the comic per se, but simply check the page every day to find something to complain about, and (b) complain about things that they grossly misinterpreted.

In high school I knew a family who were ethnic Jews but practicing Christians. They celebrated both Hanukkah and Christmas and one year all the members of the family got a necklace that was just that symbol. The Christian Cross with a Star of David on the center.

Just like all 12 of the Disciples.

              1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
              2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
              3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
              4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.
