Heh, my mom slept through them too. She also slept through the infamous propane explosion (I wrote about that last Dec.) which occurred 5 miles away but sounded like a freakin' bomb going off. That woman slept through all kinds of crazy stuff

There was the one in Virginia a few years ago; I was sitting on my couch and felt the floor shake for a couple seconds. Took me a second to figure out what had happened... New Jersey isn't exactly known for quakes. I slept through one when I was in high school; not sure where the epicenter of that one was, but I didn't even know it had happened until my parents told me the next day.
