At check-in, we offer guests a hot beverage in the winter and an icy beverage in the summer. Since it's officially Spring, it's time to make the switch to the icy beverage (which is probably infused with crack because everyone finds it addicting as hell). We haven't yet, but I heard when Chef plans to make the switch, so I emailed the front office on Saturday to share this information.
On Sunday when I came into work...
CW: "Did you hear we're getting [icy beverage] back?"
Me: "Yep."
CW: "I'm so excited to have it back!"
Me: "Yep."
CW: *short pause* "You were the one who sent out the email, weren't you?"
Me: "Yep."
