I really should write stuff down at the time

My boss rang me yesterday to do something for him when I'm on a trip tomorrow. Because I was busy with something else at the time I forgot to write it down, by the time I had chance to write it down I'd forgotten what it was.

I just got off the phone to him and he can't remember what it was either! Can't have been that important
