Default Swimming Pool Disasters & Sucker Guns

SPD: I'm not sure if this one counts.. it was at a private swimming pool and I suppose the Life Guards would be employees. I'm the daughter of the witness.

My parents told me a story about how they were at the private pool downtown with a birthday party, and it was close to the "bad side" of the neighborhood. Now, I live in the south and there are a lot of racial problems, but I'm only labeling by color, not prejudices and not rascistness.

Basically, they were sunning and in the pool the white kids were being picked on by the black kids. Dunking them underwater and not letting go until the LG yelled for one, peeing in the corners of the area (!!), and things like that.

One boy kept getting in trouble for jumping in the shallow end, and the LG told him one more time and he's out... so the boy goes on the diving board, pulls his trunks down, and feces fall in the pool

The LG kicks the boy out, and his parents, who were on the side laughing about it.

SG: My dad used to deliver Dum Dum suckers when I was a baby, he told me this story about delivering to a small store in Memphis.

Dad and guy got out of the truck, Dad goes in the building to get the manager's signature for delivery while Co-Worker loads a dolly.

While Co-Worker loads the dolly, a boy rides his bike up to the guy, and pulls out a gun.

Eleven-or-so yr. old kid with a gun tells Co-Worker to give him his wallet. Co-Worker stands there baffled, and the kid shoots the ground by his feet and repeats the request. So, the kid gets the wallet.

My Dad runs out with the manager, and says,"What just happened?!" Co-Worker repeats, and the store manager says," Well, I bet that's the same kid who was here last week."
